Back in 2008 Son Lux, aka Ryan Lott, was picked as NPR’s greatest unknown artist of the the year with his album, At War with Walls and Mazes. I haven’t listened to it, but I did manage to listen to his 4-track collection of My Brightest Diamond remixes titled Shark Remixes Vol. 2 that I recommend.
