Well, I guess whoever still actually follows this tumblr can benefit from my procrastination on schoolwork.

An any rate, the summary is… Mr Little Jeans is a London-based Norwegian girl who recorded in LA. Sorry, but that’s all I’ve got. As described by RCRD LBL, this track is “Lykke Li-ish” and I’m always in for some percussive elements. So far, I’m apparently the only one who’s hearted this song on Hypem, where I found an interesting cover of Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” below that’s been out since February, which I also recommend checking out. (btw, i really hated this song until now)

If you’re up for something bordering mainstream pop, “Angel (RAC Remix)” is good too. (Yup, once again, RAC’s Andre Anjos is on the case and adds his analog touch on upcoming breakthrough artists such as this one).

I’m a bit lazy to type a cohesive paragraph, so here are my notes as to how I got to this post.

1. Balmorhea released a remix album at the beginning of the month. See muxtape.The single released off the album is a remix of “Truth” by Helios.
2. Helios is a project by Keith Kenniff. In addition, he has another music project with his wife, Hollie, called Mint Julep. Recommended track, “To the Sea”.
3. Hollie sang guest vocals on Boy in Static’s “Toy Baby Grand“
4. I like this song below by Boy in Static, which is a bit more fitting these days now that I’m a bit closer to SF.
